Modifications to the FY2026 and FY2027 Unified Planning Work Program
The Unified Planning Work Program for Regional Transportation Planning (UPWP) is required by federal and State transportation planning regulations and provides a summary of the transportation and related air quality planning tasks to be conducted by the North Central Texas Council of Governments Transportation Department in support of the Metropolitan Planning Organization.  The FY2026 and FY2027 UPWP identifies the activities to be carried out between October 1, 2025, and September 30, 2027.  Modifications to this document are being provided for information. More information: NCTCOG.org/UPWP.

Look Out Texans

Look Out Texans encourages riders to stay safe by always wearing a properly fitted helmet using the “two finger rule” (tip #10) and by confidently claiming their space at intersections using the rightmost lane for their direction of travel (tip #13). Bicyclists have the same rights and responsibilities as motorists and staying visible and predictable helps prevent crashes. For more safety tips on walking, bicycling, and driving, visit www.LookOutTexans.org\
